About This Site…..

The Banner Photos (above)

In case you are wondering, we have a different photo for every day of the week and they change, week by week, within a cycle of 10. There are 110 in total, but we may add more. I do not necessarily add a posting every day and I sometimes back-date postings.

The Translators

In the left column there are flags under the heading Translators. If you click on them they carry out an automatic translation of the writing here into French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. We take no responsibility for the accuracy of the translations, because we have no idea how good the service is. We suspect that the far eastern language translations are horrible – but we don’t feel bad about it because we don’t know. The translation facility came for free with the Talian template that this site uses.

The Themes

Unlike any other website I’ve ever run into, this site has multiple themes, in respect of color. It has 12 color themes. I had the idea to vary colors when I realized that the design of the site itself and its name are distinctive, so varying the colors a little is probably not going to confuse.

Why am I doing this? Here’s my rationale.

The Search Capability

Let’s face it the search capability on this site is crap. If you want a list of all the articles (most recent first) which include a single word, such as “ABZTech” it’s fine. Otherwise, it’s pretty useless. I will enhance it in time, but right now, I’m sorry, but that’s all she wrote.

Blogging Theory

There is a philosophy of blogging involved in the evolution of this site. If you want to read about it read this.

Site map

Right now there is no site map, but one will appear at some point. When it gets complicated enough to need a map, it will get one.
